The Thomas Nelson Community College Staff and Faculty Expertise Guide is a publication complied to provide members of the media, program committees of civic organizations, and others with an easy-to-use reference guide to expertise available from the College.

This guide is a partial list of the College’s faculty and staff.  It is based on the returns of survey conducted by the Office of  Public Relations, Marketing, and Special Events.  If you are searching for an expert in a field that you do not find in this guide, call the Public Relations, Marketing, and Special Events Office at 757-825-2725, to find out if the College has faculty or staff member with expertise in that field.

Media Inquiry

This guide should enable a member of the media to determine whether there is a faculty or staff member at one of the College’s campuses who can comment on a particular topic or issue.  Please contact the Public Relations, Marketing, and Special Events Office at 757-825-2725 to coordinate media interview.

Speakers/Lectures

This guide should also provide program committees of civic organizations. Arrangements for a speaker must be made coordinated through the Public Relations, Marketing, and Special Events Office at 757-825-2725.
