Due to budgetary constraints we are asking everyone to print both sides of multi-page print jobs.
TNCC Students with disabilities may request assistance from LRC Staff.

GENERAL INFORMATION
The TNCC Academic Computer Lab is comprised of approximately 80 PCs in a Windows 2000/XP environment.
Its purpose is to provide computer access to students, faculty, and staff. Available programs include Office 2003 Professional
(Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), Publisher, Frontpage, Visual BASIC, Visual C++, and AutoCAD. The lab
staff assists students with specific problems to their assignments as needed.

Lab Rules:
You Must:
- Be a currently enrolled Thomas Nelson student.
- Show a picture ID (i.e. driver's license, TNCC ID) and proof of enrollment (Current semester ACL sticker)
each time you enter the lab.
- Sign in.
- Allow a staff member to check your disks for viruses.
- Turn OFF cell phone ringers. All phone conversations should be conducted outside the ACL.
- Use the computer for educational or informational purposes only.
- Relinquish your computer to students doing class assignments when the lab is full.
- Limit printing to two copies per file and no more than five pages per document unless special permission
is obtained from the lab staff.

You Must Not:
- Bring food or drinks into the lab.
- Bring children or guests who are not currently enrolled into the lab.
- Play computer games or simulations.
- Pirate (i.e. copy) software from the lab.
- Install software, write information to the hard drive, or write information to network drives.
- Use of drugs, alcohol, or tobacco products in the lab.
- View offensive, annoying, or harassing material.
- Use the Internet for illegal purposes.
- Play computer games or simulations.
- Download to the hard drive or network drives. Students may download to their floppy
disks or flash drives. It is advisable that students who download material from the Internet have it scanned for viruses when leaving the lab

The staff members in the lab have the authority to determine if a student is in compliance with the above rules,
as well as the general rules stated at TNCC. Failure to comply with the rules or any
misuse of the lab facilities can result in disciplinary action.
