Reserve materials are available in the library at the circulation desk. Reserves are materials that have been selected by instructors as specifically applicable for their classes. Reserve materials may include:
    • Videotapes
    • Selected books from the library's collections
    • Class notes
    • Supplemental course material
    • Photocopies of journal articles

Reserve materials generally are for in-library use only, though some may be allowed for checkout overnight.

These materials have been scanned and placed on the library web server. They are accessible from any computer with Internet access, though the copyrighted items are restricted by password to students registered for the specific course.

If you have questions regarding Reserves or Reserves processing, please contact Mary Jo Lawrence at LawrenceM@tncc.edu or 757-825-2877.

These reserve materials are in PDF format. The Adobe Acrobat Reader software is required to view and print PDF files. If Adobe is on the computer you're using, it will load automatically when you click on the file of your choice. If you get a screen asking for a plug-in, it means Adobe reader is not on your computer. In this case, click here to go to the Adobe site for a FREE download.

Most class reserve materials are now available through Blackboard, try there if you don't see what you are looking for here.
