- Assistive Media - "We provide audio access to reading materials for anyone with a reading
access barrier. Talented volunteers record magazine
articles and other short works which are then available for download or in
our podcast. There are over 800 recordings from magazines like The New
Yorker, Smithsonian, and Wired."
- Deaf Resource Library - "an online collection of reference material and
links intended to educate and inform people about Deaf cultures in Japan
and the United States; as well as deaf and hard of hearing related topics."
Includes bibliographies, deaf community resources, organizations, deaf
culture resources, schools and universities, scholarship info, and more.
Though the absence of a navigational guide means you have to scroll your
way through the resources to find what you're looking for, the site is
quite useful.

- Mis-understood
Minds - Background information from the PBS special about learning differences
and difficulties. Include exercises to simulate the experience of various learning disabilities. Also has
an extensive reading and resources list.
- National Rehabilitation
Information Center - For the public, resources for indepent living
cover topics like caregiving, home modification, travel, rehabilitation
success/outcome, etc. Researchers can search through REHABDATA, NIDRR
projects, and the NARIC Knowledgebase for information and referral.
