Welcome

Thomas Nelson Community College (TNCC) has one of the seven Associate of Science in Engineering programs in the Virginia Community College system. TNCC provides the equivalent of the first two years of a four-year university (Bachelor of Science) engineering education. Students attending TNCC on a full-time basis can complete the A.S. in Engineering in two years once they are able to take Calculus I (MTH 173).

Through transfer and Articulation Agreements with area universities, students who complete the A.S. degree at TNCC can enter a university engineering program with junior status although occasionally students must take a few courses from a university’s sophomore year curricula.
