Virginia Peninsula Community College (VPCC) is back in our on-base office at Fort Eustis and has resumed, full-time, normal operating hours. Students can meet with a counselor and obtain other services at the office, Monday – Friday from 8:30 am – 4:00 pm.
David Lannon, VPCC's VERITAS Liaison, says the new schedule reflects a return to "some degree of normalcy," as the college and the base emerge from the pandemic. After being closed, the Fort Eustis office resume a limited operating schedule with a counselor available in-person three days a week, and by phone or e-mail on other days.
"It's clear that many soldiers and other military members are ready to resume their off-duty education," he continued. "Having the office open five days a week provides greater access to outreach, enrollment, advising, and other services needed by our students."
Students wishing to meet with a counselor at Fort Eustis are still encouraged to make an appointment in advance, by completing and submitting a request form.
VPCC's Fort Eustis office is located at 1500 Madison Avenue on the post, across the street from the child development center and the base chapel. For more information, contact the Military & Veteran Services team at (757) 825-3442 or VA@tncc.edu
