As a proud participant in the GEM program, TNCC offers the general education classes that Air Force airmen and Space Force Guardians need to complete their Associate of Applied Science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.  You’ll find courses that are convenient, flexible and affordable.

Ready to enroll?  Registration is easy.  

First, complete our new student application.  
Then, set up your student account, using the information you’ll receive from us.  
Next, select the courses you need to satisfy CCAF general education requirements; many of these classes have various schedule options; take them during a traditional, 16-week, or in an accelerated, eight-week term format.

Cost.  As an Air Force member (active duty, Air National Guard or Reserve) or a Space Force Guardian, you qualify for our discounted tuition rate of $156 per credit hour, well within the tuition assistance limit.  Please note that fees will vary, based on whether you are a Virginia resident, or domiciled in another state.  Tuition Assistance does not cover fees, regardless of your residency.  Also: many of our GEM classes utilize open source materials, so you won’t have to pay for books.  If books and/or course materials are required, our bookstore has what you need.

We’re Here for You.  Thomas Nelson has been educating members of the military for more than 50 years, and we’ll be honored to help you complete the general education requirements for your CCAF degree.  TNCC is regionally accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) Commission on Colleges—the same body that accredits CCAF.  Credits earned at Thomas Nelson will not only satisfy your general ed requirements, they will also easily transfer into bachelor’s programs.  We have articulation agreements with more than 40 colleges and universities, in residence and on-line.
