
New Student Orientation is a fun and interactive way to learn about programs of study, academic and student support resources, transferring to a four-year institution, and student life.
New Student Orientation is a program for all students with no prior college or university enrollment, including Early College high school students. As a new student, you are required to attend a New Student Orientation session. Orientation sessions will be delivered via Zoom

At Thomas Nelson, we use multiple measures and informed self-placement to determine student readiness for college-level English and math courses. If you need additional help you may contact Admissions at admissions@tncc.edu, or visit them in Griffin Hall, room 208 on the Hampton campus, or room 117 at the Historic Triangle campus.
