President's Speaking Request Form

In a move to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 amid a surging new variant, Thomas Nelson (becoming Virginia Peninsula Community College) is switching most of its classes from in-person to virtual for the first two weeks of spring semester. Read more.

Thank you for your interest in having Thomas Nelson Community College President Dr. Towuanna Porter Brannon attend your event. Due to a large number of requests, the Office of the President receives and the complexity of the President's calendar, we ask that you provide as much information about your event as possible. Please submit this form at least four weeks prior to the event. Online submission of this completed form is REQUIRED before a hold is put on the President's calendar.

In addition to the above information, the following information should be provided to the Office of the President at CharityE@TNCC.EDU.

If the President’s name is noted on invitation or material for an event, those pieces must be submitted to the Office of the President for review and approval prior to printing.

Draft of President’s remarks due 7 business days prior to the event.

Biographical information (if applicable) is due 5 business days prior to the event.

Order of program due 5 business days prior to the event.

List of attendees due 2 business days prior to the event.

Table seating (if applicable) due 2 business days prior to event.
